EU Building Renovation Competition

Benytt muligheten til å delta i EUs konkurranse for renovering av bygninger. Søknadsfrist 21. oktober.

The EU project BIM-SPEED invites architects, engineers, construction professional and students to participate in the “EU BIM for Building Renovation Competition”.

The Competition challenge is to develop a building renovation design project applying sustainable strategies that reduces the energy consumption and increases the comfort for the occupants while reducing the duration and cost of the overall renovation process. The applicants teams must be multi-disciplinary teams. They must use Building Information Model (BIM) tools and methods and at least one tool developed by the BIM-Speed partners, such as the BIM-Speed platform, the energy simulation tools, the decision-making process tool, the inhabitant’s involvement tool, existing building data collection tool and much more. The competition is free of charge for the participants and divided in two categories: professionals and students enrolled in an academic programme from an accredited educational institution.

The deadline for registration is the 21st October 2021. 

The deadline for submitting the design proposal is the 21st January 2022 (12:00pm CET).
